Department Vision Statement
The Orange Beach Parks and Recreation Department is a regional leader in providing quality facilities, programs and services to residents and visitors alike. Excellent customer service is provided through well maintained facilities, inviting public places, and highly trained and motivated staff. The programs and services offered by this department reflect the needs and wants of the permanent population as well as seasonal visitors and are considered to be of excellent value and quality.
The department invites the community to share their knowledge, skill, and abilities by contributing their ideas and time and by helping the department deliver programs and services effectively. The department in part with the City contributes to the personal, social, economic, and environmental well-being of the community as a whole. Orange Beach Parks and Recreation brings to fruition the City's motto, "Life is better here," through a philosophy of "live, work, and play." |
