Are you making summer plans for your children and teens? This summer at the Orange Beach Art Center there are great art camps and classes. Let this summer be the summer they discover their talents in the ARTS!

For 4 and 5 year olds. 9:00am to 12:00noon, Monday mornings for 6 weeks beginning June 30th. KinderArts is an art and music program designed to ignite creativity in pre-schoolers. Teachers will have weekly music theme inspired art projects. Pre-schoolers will explore clay, paints, textiles, and much more. The cost is $100 for residents and $120 for non-residents. All supplies are included.

For children entering 1st through 6th grade. 9:00am to 3:15pm, Monday, June 16th, through Friday, June 20th. The big blow out Summer Arts Camp! Students will choose five art areas to explore. The selection this year includes drama/theater, pottery, watercolors, guitar, acrylic painting, textile art, and collage. The cost is $90 for residents and $110 for non-residents. All supplies are included. Enrollment is limited, so register early!

For students entering 7th through 12th grade. 9:00am to 3:00pm, Monday, June 23rd, through Friday, June 27th. Students will rotate through four classes of their choice, with options being: acrylics, guitar, watercolor, clay, mosaics, collage. Enjoy hanging out with your friends and doing art! The cost is $90 for residents and $110 for non-residents. All supplies are included.

For students entering 7th through 12th grade. 9:00am to 12:00noon, Tuesday mornings for six weeks beginning July 1st. This class of hand building and wheel work will concentrate on basic skills and fundamentals of the medium as well as firing techniques and glaze applications. Personal expression and direction will be encouraged. The cost is $100 for residents and $120 for non-residents. All supplies are included.

For students entering 7th through 12th grade. 9:00am to 12:00noon, Thursday mornings for six weeks beginning July 3rd. Discover your creative talent, build confidence in your personal expression, and establish the fundamentals for further exploration in your painting and drawing. Learn the principles of composition, color, contrast, perspective, and design. This class will use the mixture of acrylic paints with found materials from home to create intuitive works of art. The cost is $100 for residents and $120 for non-residents. All supplies are included.
